When a chosen buddy signs on, be alerted by a sound and/or popup

For me, this would be the Significant Other Alert. In other words, I have approximately 22 seconds to initiate an IM conversation before I get accused of ignoring her. (Outrageous, I know!) As it is now, I have no chance at redemption if another tab/window is in focus. Please, think of the couples. ; )
